Seven years ago, C-Forward opened its central Kentucky office right across from Rupp Arena in downtown Lexington. Since then, we have been able to expand our network and help more people with their information technology needs throughout the Commonwealth. There’s no question we would not have been able to accomplish as much as we have in Lexington without the help of our network engineer, Matt Rayburn. Rayburn has worked at C-Forward for 5 years and brings valuable expertise in infrastructure design, network support, and cyber security. He brings an extensive background in firewalls, switches, various Windows Server operating systems, and virtualization platforms.
He has designed and implemented complex Disaster Recovery solutions using a range of technology such as StorageCraft, Backup Exec, and VEEAM. He holds several IT certifications which include CompTIA Network+ and Security+, along with other vendor certifications such as Cisco, Checkpoint, Citrix, Microsoft and VMware.
He provides our customers with project management, implementation of new solutions, and vCIO services. He is someone the entire C-Forward team counts on for day-to-day troubleshooting and support, as he not only works with clients in the Central Kentucky region, but also throughout the entire C-Forward footprint.

Rayburn enjoys the time that he has spent working at C-Forward and says he enjoys “tackling the new challenges” every day he comes into the office. He also cites community outreach as one of the things he is most proud of at C-Forward. Rayburn said, “Our company cares about our community, our customers, and our employees, and I love that we go above and beyond to make sure people are happy and taken care of.”
When not at C-Forward, Rayburn enjoys spending time with family and friends, hiking, fishing and playing music.
